Moments ago, the Pittsburgh Penguins released their regular season schedule for the 2022-23 season.
The Penguins open the season with back-to-back home games. On Thursday, Oct. 13, the season opens with a matchup against former Penguin Phil Kessel and the Arizona Coyotes. Following that, the Penguins take on the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, Oct. 15. Puck drop for both games is 7 p.m.
A five-game road trip headlines the final weeks of October. Part of that will take place in Canada where the Penguins will take on the Edmonton Oilers on October 24, the Calgary Flames the following night, then against the Vancouver Canucks on Friday, October 28.
The Penguins will return to the Winter Classic on Monday, January 2. They will face-off against the Boston Bruins at Fenway Park at 2 p.m.
