Indiana County first responders were busy yesterday afternoon and evening.
Two vehicle accidents were reported in the afternoon hours. The first was at 2:31 PM on Clymer Road in Cherryhill Township. Cherryhill firefighters were dispatched at the time to assist state police already on the scene. The other accident was at 3:27 PM on Grange Road in Black Lick Township. Black Lick and Blairsville Fire Departments were called out along with Citizens Ambulance and State Police.
Details on the crashes have not yet been released.
Three automatic fire alarms were also reported. One on Pratt Drive in White Township at 3:29 PM that brought the Indiana Fire Association to the scene. They would go out at 8:11 PM for another automatic fire alarm on Katheryn Street in White Township. The third alarm was on Mountain View Drive in Montgomery Township at 7:39 PM. Commodore fire department was called to the scene.
