Indiana County’s first responders were busy again on Monday as eight incidents were reported by Indiana County 911.
Indiana firefighters were summoned to three incidents including a vehicle accident along South 6th Street in Indiana Borough around 2:23 p.m. Initial reports say debris was on the roadway near Mack Park. No word on if anyone was hurt. Other calls for Indiana Fire Association members include a fuel spill on Valley Road around 10:06 p.m. and an automatic fire alarm along Madison Circle, both in White Township.
Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters were summoned to Debnar’s Pools and Spas in Burrell Township around 8:16 a.m. for an automatic fire alarm that was later deemed a false activation.
Nicktown and Pine Township fire crews were called to utility lines down along Route 553 around 5:47. That required Pine Township to conduct traffic control for a short time.
Rossiter and Central fire departments tackled a gas leak along Lower Clinton Street in Canoe Township shortly before 8:30 yesterday morning.
And a miscellaneous call brought Vintondale and Brush Valley fire crews to Rexis Road in Buffington Township around 5:47 a.m.
