After an active Saturday for first responders, crews had only two calls for service over the last 24 hours.
One of those calls was about a vehicle accident this morning in Rochester Mills. Indiana County 911 sent the Marion Center and Plumville fire departments to 14472 Route 119 North in North Mahoning Township at 3:31 this morning. Marion Center fire department officials say when they arrived, they found a southbound semi had overturned, resulting in minor injuries. State police were later called in to assist in the investigation.
The other call was labelled as “miscellaneous” by Indiana County 911. That was at 8:39 last night on 3rd Avenue in Pine Township. Pine and Cherryhill Township fire departments were dispatched to the scene.
