Indiana County’s First Responders were active on Thursday.
Out of the six calls for service yesterday, four of them were automatic fire alarm calls. The first was at 9:34 AM on Shelly Drive in White Township. Indiana Fire Association members would be dispatched for the first of four calls on the day. The second fire alarm was for a property along Mountain View Drive in Montgomery Township, and that sent the Commodore Firefighters out at 9:39.
Then at 12:43, Indiana fire crews were called out for two fire alarms simultaneously. One was reported on Philadelphia Street and the other was on South 6th Street, according to Indiana County 911.
A gas leak was reported on Blystone Road in Rayne Township at 4:59 last night. Marion Center fire crews went to the scene.
The last call of the day was for a vehicle crash on Route 119 South in White Township at 8:28 PM. Indiana fire department, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were called out. Details on the crash have not been released.
