Police in Indiana Borough have filed charges of DUI-controlled substance against an Irwin woman for an incident in early February. Officers say at 12:11 AM on February 2nd, they pulled over a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Amanda Lynn Delsignore for a summary vehicle violation. They found her under the influence to a point where she was a danger to herself and others. A consent search of her vehicle turned up an unnamed controlled substance and some drug paraphernalia. She was taken into custody but later released to a sober adult.
An Indiana man faces retail theft charges for an incident late Friday night at a convenience store in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street. Indiana Borough Police were sent there Saturday evening after receiving word of someone taking merchandise without paying for it the night before. Police identified the suspect as 37-year-old Ronald Eiselman, Jr. and a citation was filed with District Judge Susanne Steffee’s office.
