State police are investigating a case of theft by deception involving real estate outside of Pennsylvania.
Troopers were called in on Wednesday to investigate the incident where an un-named couple in their 70s from Indiana nearly had property they own in California stolen and sold without their permission. The suspects were trying to get the proceeds from the sale, but it was stopped by the realtor.
No money was lost in the incident.
