It was a busy Saturday night for Indiana County’s firefighters, starting with two accidents. At 7:17 PM, Clyde firefighters were dispatched to a crash on Route 22 East in West Wheatfield Township. Armagh/East Wheatfield was sent to an accident on Route 403 in East Wheatfield Township at 8:53 PM, with Clyde responding as well for traffic control.
At 9:16 PM, Glen Campbell, Commodore, Rossiter, Big Run, and the Hope fire companies were sent along With Team 900 to a structure fire along Smiley Road in Banks Township, in northern Indiana County. Clymer was assigned standby duty and the Community Fire Company, of Mahaffey, was dispatched. No information is available on the fire.
