Multiple injuries were reported in a crash near the intersection of Route 119 and Lucerne Road in Homer City.
Indiana County 911 summoned Homer City, Coral-Graceton and Indiana firefighters, state police, and Citizens’ Ambulance to the area near Sheetz at 6:25 p.m. for a crash involving a pick-up truck and Homer City Fire Chief Terry Gardner said one person had to be extricated and flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for treatment of injuries. He said fire crews are not sure what caused the accident.
At least two people were in the other car at the time of the crash. They were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries. The state police reconstruction team was called in to investigate.
