State police have released the details on a three-vehicle crash on Wayne Avenue on Tuesday.
The crash was reported at 11:00 at the intersection of Wayne and Old Route 119 as Daniel Turney of Shelocta was going North on Wayne Avenue in his pickup. 28-year-old Jaymie Howe was going south on the same road, and as Turney turned left toward Old 119, he went into the path of Howe’s vehicle. The impact spun Howe’s truck out, and Turney’s truck continued over the median and hit a truck driven by Harvey Hostetler of Homer City.
A passenger in Turney’s truck had serious injuries, and Howe had possible injuries. The two were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment.
