Thomas J. Lavosky, known affectionately as Tom to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on May 19, 1931, in Plumville, Pennsylvania, Tom was the son of the late Joseph and Emma Lavosky.
Tom graduated from high school with a keen interest in mechanics and electrical systems. This interest led him to a fulfilling career as an electrician. In addition to his professional life, Tom was a proud member of the United States Air Force.
Tom’s personality was the epitome of kindness, humor, and thoughtfulness. His infectious laughter and witty jokes were a source of joy for all who knew him. He had a remarkable talent for making people feel at ease and valued, leaving a lasting impression on countless hearts.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Tammy Connell and her husband, Gary, of Fairview, PA. Tom was a dedicated father and his legacy lives on through her, and the stories she shares about her father will ensure that his memory continues to shine brightly. Thomas J. Lavosky lived a life marked by service, laughter, and love. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Tom was a devoted husband to his late wife, Dorothy (Bowser) Lavosky, whose memory he held dear to his heart. Together, they shared a love that was evident to all and created countless cherished memories.
