Brad Vance, 39, passed away on January 6, 2024. He was born on August 26, 1984, in Latrobe, PA, and was the son of Carlene Hilliard and Thomas Vance. Brad was a loving father, husband, brother, and friend whose infectious laughter left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
He was a member of the Homer City American Legion Post #493. His professional life was spent as a skilled contractor at Vance Enterprises. Outside work, Brad enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, like boating and skiing. He was a master at carpentry and was often found building cherished things for his children.
Brad is survived by his adoring wife, Ann Vance; his loving children, Tyler Bollinger, Cheyenne Vance, and Finnegan Vance; his siblings, Brian Vance, Devin Hilliard, Ashley Vance, and Alicia Altman; and a warm extended family of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews and countless good friends, including Matt and Brittany Haer and their children.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Wanda Rager; paternal grandparents, Kenneth Vance and Beverly Markle; his uncle, Thomas Rager; and his beloved dog, Harley.
Brad’s absence leaves a void, but his memory will continue to inspire and warm the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Friends will be received Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 2 PM until 4 PM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City. A Funeral Service will held Saturday at 4 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Dawn Krishart officiating.
