Work is continuing on the Jacksonville Road Bridge improvement project.
Crews started work on the project on April 24th for the project that will replace the bridge over Twolick Creek with a two-span, composite, pre-stressed concrete bulb-tee beam bridge. The project is expected to wrap up in November of this year.

A pedestrian bridge is in place through the area, but motorists are advised to take the posted detours in the area. Those coming from Homer City should travel south on Main Street, then turn right onto West Elm Street, Turn right on Old Route 56, and finally Turn right onto Jacksonville Road. Those coming from Center Township should take Jacksonville Road then turn left onto Old Route 56, turn left onto Water Street then turn left on Main Street.
