Indiana County’s school districts are preparing to get back to class this week, and each is following its own plan based on coronavirus issues.
The Blairsville-Saltsburg school district will resume classes tomorrow with all instruction being remote. The district has also suspended all athletic and extra-curricular activities until December 8th, when the situation will be reevaluated.
Homer-Center is fully remote this week, starting on Tuesday and with a decision coming later in the week on whether or not to resume in-person or extend the remote schedule of instruction.
Indiana Area will be remote this week starting on Tuesday, with a special school board meeting Monday night to consider the latest news and guidance from the governor.
Marion Center High School will remain in a fully remote learning model through December and will be re-evaluated in January. Rayne and WA MCCreery Elementary Buildings will also be moving to fully remote this Tuesday. There is no set date for a return, but it will be evaluated on a continuous basis.
Penns Manor resumes on Tuesday with in-person instruction for both elementary and high school students.
Purchase Line will resume Tuesday with the entire district remaining on remote instruction until December 7th.
United resumes Tuesday with all-remote instruction until December 7th.
