A ribbon cutting ceremony was held earlier today at the URBN Distribution Center in White Township.

The ceremony was held inside the main warehouse of the 880,000 square foot URBN facility, with not only local dignitaries in attendance, but the CEO of URBN, Richard Hayne was also there. He said that in the first sixty days that the facility has been operational, it has well exceeded his expectations.
Hayne attributed the good start at the facility to the employees that URBN has in place.
Thirteen months ago, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the URBN facility at Windy Ridge, with the facilities starting up in the month of August. The business is expected to employ 225 people, which Indiana County Commissioner Rod Ruddock said came at the right time for the community.
